Our mission is to help teens and their parents find and participate in meaningful experiential learning opportunities. Website: https://www.teenlife.com/
Camp Kesam - Since 2000, Camp Kesem has provided a FREE service that has given children affected by a parent’s cancer the opportunity to just be kids. The ever-expanding Kesem community engages in camp activities like sports, arts and crafts, and drama to give campers a fun-filled week. Campers also participate in “Cabin Chats” with fellow campers and counselors, giving children the chance to share their experiences with each other. There are plenty of laughs and lots of emotional support, but Camp Kesem does not provide therapy. The tremendous fun and support campers experience is what makes Camp Kesem a transformative, magical week for campers and counselors alike. Website: http://campkesem.org/about-us

Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop is great to do in summer - this is when they need the most help and you can make money towards school events and for the Village Fund. It averages $8 per hour that you can put towards any school related trip or fundraising activity. You can even make a sign-in page for yourself that is "to be announced" - in other words you can save money towards that big Latin club trip, forum trip, or band trip that hasn't even been planned yet! Go in to the shop to sign up for hours any time. It's fun work, in 2 hour shifts, available 7 days a week - and you get a preview of all the cool thrift shop deals. 2280 S. Industrial Highway, 996-9155. Tanya (CHS PTO Thrift shop coordinator)
